Judge Karlos Finley has been serving as a Municipal Court Judge for the City of Mobile since 2015. As a Municipal Court Judge he presides over misdemeanor criminal actions, traffic violations, and sets bonds for those arrested who have allegedly broken the law in the city of Mobile. In his courtroom, Judge Finley protects the rights of all and advocates for justice in each case that comes before him.

Judge Karlos Finley has also served as a Prosecutor for the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office from 2005 to 2008. During this time he represented the State of Alabama in the District and Circuit Courts; in both juvenile and adult court systems. It was here that he learned how to try cases to both judges and juries. As a true advocate for justice, he has learned the importance of applying the law to facts and circumstances. Judge Finley knows that winning is NOT the ultimate goal, administering justice IS. His experience as a prosecutor, as well as his military service in the United States Coast Guard has helped ingrain a deep commitment to protecting the rule of law.

In addition to Judge Finley's role as a Municipal Court Judge, he also practices law as an attorney in private practice at his law firm, the K. Fitzgerald Finley Firm, P.C. In this role Finley has had the privilege to fight for individuals who could not fight for themselves. He has been able to represent businesses in complex products liability cases and serve as co-counsel in one of America’s largest anti-trust class action, multi-district litigation cases involving international corporations.
